Golf 5 R32 front conversion and side skirt cost £1,258.00 (1,474.00Euro) in the UK

    I am an owner of a MKV VW Golf. I would like to convert the front end into an R32 replica.


    Using the information from this website I contacted VW directly. The prices for the skirts and the front bumper parts are really expensive at £1258.46. This is equivalent to 1,474.75 EUR.


    Is there an alternative way of achieving this because that does not include the cost of painting?

    at first Welcome here ;)


    yes that's right, the Pats at VW are really expensive, ich changed my front to US-Jetta and at the dealer directly it would cost me about 1200€.


    The easiest and cheapest way to get the party it at ebay.com


    Instead of the original side skirts from the r32, you could take the skirts from the GTI and grind them to make them ready to paint.
    I also did it this way, because the original r32 Skirts in GRU cost about 440€ for a pair.


    But if you have a noraml MK V, there is the problem that you have to change the carries of the front, because the original r32 front do not fit on the carries of the normal MK V.
    The carries cost about 300€ at VW, its the safest way to buy new ones.

    yeah it's really very expensiv !


    I found a R32 look kit by RIEGER tuning !


    costs : 1234 euro inlcuding the Rieger frontspoiler !

    Why don't you buy the MK5 GTI / GT / JETTA Bumper ?
    it's a much more cheaper and better-looking Idea ;D

    Because there are two or three .:R32 and 40 GTI´s in London... So it looks like last weekend... :D
