    The Mk V switch will not take the direct power connections like the Mk IV has.


    It is only a low current switch for the central electrics. So you would need relays in the circuit to fit in a Mk IV


    The light sensor is built into the rear view mirror mount on the windscreen.

    Does anyone know the Part Number for DSP tweeters to fit in 2 door Golf IV rear quarter panel?


    The only numbers I can find are for the 4-door tweeters in the rear doorhandles.

    VW now only list one replacement MCD navi 7M3 057 191 B (Nachrüstung version) or 7M3 035 191 B (spare part)

    The 1J0 035 191 C CANBUS version was only fitted to late 3BG Passats (same as MFD-G was) but this new (only!) version is listed as covering this model. :O


    So is it CANBUS or 3LB???

  • ABS Signal für MFD

    VW prewire the two ABS signal wires from the ABS controller into the dashboard loom.


    The ends of the wires are just taped up in the loom above the pedal assembly.


    If you buy the genuine retrofit cable for the MFD from VW, the instructions for finding these wires are included.

    This is not possible because there is a chip (EEPROM) missing from the normalen Türsteuergeräte. The Türsteuergeräten mit Klappfunktion has an extra chip in the circuitboard which controls the folding function.

    If you have the Gamma with DSP control unit and amp, then the "Bass" and "Treble" schalter on the actual Gamma have no further effect to the sound? (that is, they do not work to give extra bass and treble control anymore?)

    No, I actually want to use the Gamma and just plug in the DSP amp (just for its 4x 70 W RMS output and OEM fitment ;)).


    Without the controller, would it just default to "Linear" settings?


    Would you then be able to use the Bass and Treble on the Gamma to control the sound output (i.e. VAGCOM code the radio to say "NOT DSP amp" so that the outputs work as per normal)?

    Würde das Gamma dann die gesunden Einstellungen kontrollieren, wenn Sie es also zu 'non-DSP" wiedercodieren, der mit VAGCOM setzt?
